The clever eye has a tiny slit on one side. By drawing the thread downwards along the side of the needle it will slip through the slit and into the needle eye.

Universal Point Best suited for woven fabrics such as cotton, linen, poly cotton and similar. You can also get by on most satins, silks and other lightweight woven fabrics. 

Universal will also work well on some jersey fabrics such as stretch cotton and certain synthetic stretch fabrics.

• Size 80/12 Fine - Medium: Use on light to medium weight fabrics

• Size 90/14 : Medium: Use on medium weight fabrics
